Community Centre COMPASS, part of the Bulgarian Network of Protection and Inclusion Centres COMPASS, was established on the initiative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR Bulgaria) in Varna by the ENERGY Association to support vulnerable groups, asylum seekers and refugees, regardless of their nationality.
Partner organizations that provide support in the center: Association ENERGY, Bulgarian Red Cross - Varna, Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR.

Partner organizations provide the following free services for socio-economic inclusion:

• Psychosocial support: individual and group counselling, information seminars with psychologists; social support and counselling by social workers.
• Support for obtaining health services: Information and support for access to basic medical examinations and treatment.
• Provision of legal aid.
• Social activities: organizing various social events and activities to promote integration and interaction between refugees and the local community.
• Cultural and sporting activities: holding cultural or sporting events, festivals, exhibitions, musical performances, sports activities to promote diversity and mutual understanding.
• Support for children and parents: family psychological counselling, ART workshops with children and parents.
• Educational activities: INTEGRICO - Educational support of children for integration in the Bulgarian education system. Preparation for enrolment in first grade. Homework help and adaptation to the Bulgarian curriculum. Summer educational programs that combine academic and cultural activities.
• Providing training and courses for learning the Bulgarian language, culture and history.
• Financial support from UNHCR.

The services are free of charge and are intended for: vulnerable groups, asylum seekers and refugees, regardless of their nationality.
